SUSTAINABILITY

Are corporates just responsible for building up the economy? We at BTS go beyond and hold ourselves accountable to be socially and environmentally responsible and steering the world to a sustainable future.
We at BTS are eco-conscious and go beyond in committing ourselves to contribute to the larger good. Promising a greener future and preservation of the environment are our core values. Sustainability is the foundation of all our travel practices. Our in-house team has implemented the best policies on tourism regarding nature, local communities, wildlife, volunteering, and more.
We are on a mission to promote conscious travel – empowering all stakeholders to think, act and choose positively. Together with our FTOs, travellers, and on-ground partners, we want to create a positive impact by working with local communities and emphasising a sustainable future of travel.

Go Green initiative

BTS sponsored the guide training of Sudarshan Singh Dhurvey in association with The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM)Park Guide training programme. This training balances classroom-based theoretical teaching and field studies to nurture remarkable skills these park guides already possess, having been born and brought up within forest habitats. Dhurvey is now the official guide at the Tala Zone in Kanha National Park and is gainfully employed leading groups in the Park. Kanha National Park is one of the biggest national parks in Madhya Pradesh, India, and is a Tiger Reserve in the Mandla and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, India.
We also endorse SOS’s Bear Rescue Village, which works to treat Indian bears humanely. We sincerely believe that we must look beyond the traditionally perceived capitalist mandate of purely making a return on investment for our company’s owners or shareholders — we want to make every effort to manage the social, environmental, and economic impact of every one of our actions and make the local community a better place.
